Infused Honey is term used for honey that has flowers, herbs, fruits or vegetables added into the jar of honey for an extended period of time to let the specific and unique flavors permeate the honey. We have many different options and you can also contact us for your own specially requested flavor or mixture of infused honey!
Our infused honey uses dried organic ingredients to avoid bacteria from the moisture content in fresh goods. We also use extracts in some of the flavors. Please contact us for any questions or special requests.
Infused Flavored Honey
Honey will crystallize if left in a cold environment naturally overtime, this does not impact the quality of the honey but it changes the texture. Some prefer it crytalized because it is easier to spread on bread, but some don’t like it because it’s harder to drizzle. Thankfully there’s a way to de-crystallize it. The honey we provide is not crystallized and considered "runny". If yours does crystallize after storing, there are many youtube videos for instructions:
To de-crystallize your honey, boil a pot of water and place your glass jar of honey in the pot so it slowly heats up the honey and melts the crystals. it may take some time.
To crystallize your honey, put your jar in the refrigerator until you see the crystals form and fill the jar. They will be lighter in color. I do not recommend you put your jar in the freezer because it may cause the glass to break or shatter.
